  • Boat transportation

    to and from Village Farm Organic Homestead from Garbutt’s Marina, Joe Taylor Creek, located in Punta Gorda Town, Toledo District, Belize. Air conditioned van transfer from other locations in Belize to Garbutt’s Marina, Punta Gorda, can be arranged at an additional cost

  • Accommodations

    Accommodations are included on a first come first serve basis in our rooms in The Ritz, the Garden Guesthouse and The Seaside Villa. On a budget? Save 50 dollars on your booking by sleeping in our Barn Bunkhouse in a bed with your own bug/privacy net, fan and shared bathroom. All accommodations use composting toilet systems.

  • Meals

    Three hearty meals a day. Snacks and sweets. Farm fresh iced herbal teas, juices and smoothies. Belizean chocolate and rum tastings.

    Processing and cooking of farm products and select outside ingredients into delicious farm-to-table meals and drinks.

    Learn about this amazing ecosystem while we keep our eyes and ears out for wildlife!

  • Food and Anthropology Discussions

    On culinary heritage, identity through food, food and farming systems and food supply chains. Led by Dr. Lyra Spang, your guide and culinary anthropologist.

About our Farm Experience
