Spend an unforgettable morning at the world’s most sustainable distillery: Copalli Rum. See for yourself how Copalli’s carbon neutral, certified organic rum making process actually gives back to Belize as we explore their distillery and barrel aging facility. Enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding rain forest from the viewing deck on top of their 4 story column still. End the tour with a guided tasting of their four impeccable rums, then savor a cocktail featuring your favorite Copalli rum.
Next we head to Ixcacao Chocolate, Belize’s original Maya owned chocolatier. After a delicious all you can eat farm to table meal prepared by The Chocolate Queen, (vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available), learn about the cacao growing and fermenting process and taste over a dozen of Ixcacao’s fine flavor chocolates. See cacao growing on the tree and learn about its cultivation. During harvest season, sample the ripe cacao fruit. Enjoy Maya style hot chocolate and delicious chocolate samples. Henry Cho guides us through the process of making our own chocolate using heirloom stone tools.
