The Pickled Parrot is the oldest expat bar in Placencia with 28 years as a landmark in the village. The thatched roof tiki bar is a North American style casual setting for modestly priced food. We specialize in turkey club sandwiches from fresh roasted turkeys, hot ham and cheese sandwiches from local pork, and possibly the best burgers in Belize, with 8oz of ground beef and steak on a locally baked roll. For vegetarians we offer salads, veggie stir frys and loaded potatoes. Our daily specials are: Monday: meatloaf, mashed potatoes and steamed carrots.  Wednesday: chicken Parmesan over pasta. Thursday: slow roasted pork, mashed potatoes and steamed cabbage. Friday: lion fish and fresh cut fries, or special of the day. Saturday: coconut shrimp over rice. Sunday: kitchen is closed but we put out something in the crockpot to give away while watching NFL on the bigscreens. Our hours are 11am till 10ishpm.Certain nights we feature live music, trivia and art bar!

Hours: We are closed Tuesdays, and open every other day at 11AM.
