Beach-side Coffee Experience

Meet Rick Feldman, Placencia’s very own coffee guru, at his village home on the beach we explore every aspect of your favorite morning drink. Learn about the origins of coffee, its arrival in the new world and the health benefits of this amazing shrub. Participate step by step in roasting and grinding, learn the fine art of brewing the perfect cup of coffee and sample several different varieties including Belizean shade grown. Then we get hands on with another fun project-making our very own coffee sugar scrub with Belizean coffee and sugar! Finish the class with a taste of Rick’s hand crafted coffee liquor. Tour Price: 50 USD/100BZD per person including 12.5% sales tax. Four person minimum to book so check with us to see if there is an available class to join if your group is less than 4.

Duration: 2½ hours , starts 10AM or 3PM. Let us know which time you prefer when you book. Not available on Sundays. What to bring: Camera, sunblock, bug spray and your love of coffee! If the sun is shining you may want to bring your swimsuit and towel and jump in the sea after the class! Location and Transport: Class meet up point is in front of the Taste Belize Shop which is located on Main Street in downtown Placencia Village,  across the street from Sidewinders Subs. Click here for map.
